Itinerario
Día 1
Anubis Egypt travel guide will meet you at your hotel in Cairo / Giza or anywhere in Egypt, then you will start your exciting trip to Wadi El-Natrun, the birthplace of Christian monasticism today. There were about 50 monasteries. There are only 4 monasteries left of them. We will visit them today. You will start your journey by visiting the Baramous Monastery, which is the oldest of the four remaining monasteries. You will meet with some Egyptian priests who will give you a lot of information about the monastery and then move to the Monastery of Anba Bishoy, whose body is still in the monastery. Then, the Monastery of Abu Makar. It is also called the Monastery of Anba Makarios, and it is the richest monastery now in Wadi El-Natrun, as it includes more than 100 monks and 600 workers in the vast farm spread out in front of it. Your trip will end with the smaller Syriac monastery, then enjoy lunch and return to Cairo again
