Luxor is one of the most important and famous cities in the world. It contains a third of the world’s monuments. Its ancient name is Thebes. It is the capital of Egypt during the era of the modern state, beginning with the 17th Dynasty. Luxor is divided into two main parts, east of the Nile and west of the Nile.

The tour begins with a visit to the West Bank, where you will visit the Valley of the Kings, a great mountainous area in which more than 65 tombs were discovered. The most famous tombs are King Thutmose I, Thutmose III, Tutankhamun, King Ramses VI, King Merneptah and Amenhotep II. Then we move on to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmose I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the Eighteenth Dynasty (about 1490-1469 BC), and is the only Pharaonic woman who ruled ancient Egypt. Then visit the statue of Memnon that remained from the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. Then we move to the east bank of Luxor to enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant, before moving on to visit the Karnak temples, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Conclude your tour with a visit to Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III during the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom, and completed by Ramses II during the 19th dynasty. Later you will be returned to your hotel in Luxor.
